Good, competent and compassionate doctor.
Dr Horton-Szar always takes the time to listen to me fully and repeats things back to me to make sure we're both on the same page before making notes.
When I was feeling desperately ill I couldn't get any doctors to help, they all said it was because I needed to lose weight or that I was probably just depressed. Dr Horton-Szar referred me for tests and prescribed medication to help manage my symptoms whilst I was waiting for the referrals so that I could cope. Now I have a diagnosis and I've been able to see specialists to help me, but I will always prefer to see Dr Horton-Szar instead when I can.
Rude, on several ocassions now. I know he is trying to keep to his time and I don't even take up 5 minutes of his time. Rushes you in and out, not listening, very dismissive, treats you like you are a moron. I would like him to listen and provide constructive answers, bit more care wouldn't go amiss either.
He was rude and short with me when covering as the duty GP. Hope I never have to speak with him again.
Great listener, cuts to the chase, effective in his diagnoses but always willing to make a referral for specialist treatment. Good timekeeper. Pleasant manner and very re-assuring.
The doctor's secretary has always been very helpful when I needed certain (non-medical) advice and help. A good team
